Dr Paul Winson Acknowledged as a key figure in the
scientific and medical instrumentation sector, Paul combines extensive
experience of general, marketing and sales management with a record of
successful international business development.
He held senior positions in the USA and Europe with the Perkin Elmer
Corporation, followed by UK and overseas management experience with EMI Medical,
the developers of the CT Scanner. Subsequently
Paul played a central role in the growth of Oxford Instruments at Business
development and at Managing Director level.
He has acted successfully in turnaround management roles, notably the
rescue of Enviromed plc and is on the Board of a number of companies

brings a wealth of business experience to any assignment. This stems from his 18
years in industry and a further 3 years in venture capital before he established
an independent M&A practice in 1991. Starting in aerospace at BAE Systems,
he spent four years in Operations Management prior to joining the Panavia
Tornado sales team in Munich with responsibility for Industrial Offset. He
returned to the UK in 1981 to undertake international marketing and sales roles
for Raychem, the US electronic components manufacturer, and later joined STC to
do European business development in the telecoms sector and run a radar
business. At Grosvenor Venture Managers he had particular interest in the
technology sector. He made and managed a broad range of investments, being a
Director on investee company boards. |
